He expresses his emotions through rhythmic Melodies and passionate lyricism. His style of mixing Afro elements with Rhythm and blues gives his musical expression a unique taste.
In 2020, He Debuted his 7 Tracked EP titled “Worlds Apart” EP which premiered in over numerous radio stations around Nigeria and Canada such as CBC Saskatchewan, CBC Music, CJTR Regina, Masterclass radio Calgary, Beat fm Abuja, Rhythm Fm Benin , Vibes fm Benin amongst other notable media and TV stations around the world.
In 2021, Rooky was nominated as the “HipHop Artist of the Year” at the Prestigious Saskatchewan Music Awards 2021 , making him a fast emerging talent to keep an eye out for in the future.

2022 started with a high note as we see Rooky performing live for the first time on Canadian TV “CTV REGINA LIVE” where he performed his ever green record “CNTRL” after a brief interview.
Rooky headlined his first Self Promoted Concert in Regina at the Cloud 9 Live in January 2022 which he titled “AFRODISIAC” , The show had various performances from other local artist and boasted of 70+ people in attendance irregardless of the below freezing point weather.
In February/March 2022, Rooky releases his Sophomore EP titled “Satori” which is a 7-tracked musical project which premiered on CBC Saskatchewan and has being on radio rotation at Rhythm FM 92.7 Benin. The lead single off this project titled ‘Inna Eyes’ was featured on Apple Music’s New Music Daily and Apple Music Reggae playlist “Tun Up”. The music video for this single has also obtained more than 10,000 views since its release! as well as a TV premiere on CTV REGINA MORNING LIVE.
Rooky headlined his second show “Afrodisiac in Spring” at the prestigious The Exchange Live in Regina which had numerous raves and reviews and also boasted of a good attendance. for the Event , Rooky was featured on Access Tv with Lisa Peters on here show “Talk of the Town. He also had a brief radio interview with CJTR Regina on the Pop-centric Mystic Voyage Radio show.
As part of his Internship with the music organization ‘SaskMusic” , Rooky aided in the BLACK HISTORY MONTH programming with fellow Regina based Artist – Adeoluwa. which lead to a month promotion/interview of up to 15 Black Artist and industry personals based in Saskatchewan which rounded up with a filming concert showcase. Rooky’s Important contributions to the arts and entertainment community can be seen all around.
Asides creating music, Rooky spends his hobbies freezing time through photography, reading and writing random literature or playing video games.
Rooky is currently a Research and Outreach assistant for Sask Music and the graphic editor and photographer for the university of Regina’s Campus Newspaper “The Carillon”.
